Investigations into police conduct, whether they result from a complaint or otherwise, produce valuable lessons for policing. This means the police complaints/conduct system can operate as a powerful tool for improving policing.

The Learning and Confidence Committee publishes a bulletin to help the police service improve by learning in this way from investigations and other operations of the police conduct system.
